Sherida Hinckson is the visionary behind Green Quotient Solutions, LLC (GQS), a forward-thinking consultancy dedicated to driving sustainability across communities and businesses. With a degree in Accounting and Information Systems, her career spans both conventional and clean energy sectors, offering a rare blend of expertise.
Sherida’s journey began at Ernst & Young, where she provided accounting and consulting services to major players in the oil and gas industry. Her role involved auditing financial statements as well as advising on carbon credits and emissions strategies, giving her firsthand experience with the complexities of traditional energy. She later transitioned to BloombergNEF, focusing on renewable energy technologies, specifically battery energy storage systems, which play a pivotal role in the global energy transition.
In addition to her corporate experience, Sherida has experience as a STEM educator, teaching and inspiring the next generation of problem solvers. Her work in education allows her to bridge the gap between technical expertise and the ability to engage and empower diverse audiences—making her uniquely suited to lead GQS in delivering solutions that resonate across sectors.
