Sherida Hinckson is the visionary behind Green Quotient Solutions, LLC (GQS), a forward-thinking consultancy built on the belief that the future of energy must be both inclusive and intelligent. With a rare blend of experience in both conventional and clean energy sectors, a background in accounting, and a passion for public education, Sherida brings a uniquely holistic perspective to the sustainability space.
With a degree in Accounting and Information Systems, she began her career in the oil and gas industry at Ernst & Young, where she audited major petroleum producers and advised clients on emissions strategies and carbon credit compliance — gaining firsthand insight into the business behind traditional energy systems. She later transitioned to BloombergNEF, where she tracked battery energy storage and other clean energy technologies critical to the global transition away from fossil fuels.
As a STEM educator, Sherida has a gift for breaking down complex energy and sustainability topics for audiences that often get left out of these conversations: students, communities, and professionals outside the energy sector. Her ability to move seamlessly between technical insight and everyday language allows GQS to work across industries, sectors, and lived experiences.
By understanding both sides of the energy coin — fossil and renewable — and recognizing the human stories behind the systems, Sherida leads GQS with the goal of making sustainability actionable, approachable, and equitable for all.
